A Topsail Mother's Day

Hudson decided to make his Mommy earn her Mother's Day. The little guy had been running a low grade fever on and off since just before leaving for the trip. It hadn't seemed to be wearing on him... until last night, of course. He was up briefly at 9 pm and 12 am, and then on and off, crying and writhing, from 2 am until morning.

Hudson's Mommy was convinced that Mother's Day would be a bust and they'd need to head home early. To her surprise, he bounced back quickly (especially after a chocolate-chip pancake breakfast) and enjoyed a walk around the Point with the dogs before saying goodbye to Topsail Island.

All of the Youngers wish all the moms out there a very happy Mother's Day! We hope your day was as fun (though perhaps a bit more restful) than ours!
