Hudson and Celia had some quality time together today with Hudson "keeping an eye" on his sister in the swing while his Mommy cooked dinner. Other than a request to PUSH HER HIGHER!!! that his Mommy promptly denied, it went just fine.
Speaking of the little guy, we've been meaning to start a log of some of his best sayings...
(1) CONSCUSE ME!!! - Mistaken for "excuse me," it's a constant refrain in the Younger household. Unfortunately, Hudson hasn't yet learned that you're supposed to wait for the other party to pause and acknowledge you before continuing.
(2) YOU'RE MESSING WITH ME!!! - Taught to him by his Mommy, used frequently (and appropriately) in response to his Daddy teasing him.
(3) RING RING RING!!! - Hudson was very interested in the bear bells his parents use to keep away bears when hiking in bear country. He extrapolated that a ringing sound would keep the Tickle Monster away.
(4) IN A LITTLE WHILE!!! - Every time Teacher Sue begins her explanation that free play time will be coming to an end in a "few teacher minutes," Hudson races over with both hands in the air to make this statement.
(5) YOU NEED TO PICK HER UP!!! - He likes to point out the obvious when he hears Celia cry. Same can be said for YOU NEED TO GIVE HER MILK!!! when she's hungry.
