What a crazy month it's been, full of ups and downs for all the Youngers! Hudson has been most extreme, having moments of pure sweetness where he dotes on Celia or makes precocious observations and other incredibly naughty ones that have resulted in his Mommy seeking help from parenting books. (Feel free to send any recommendations.) Celia's extremes are a bit different and of the standard infant variety... she'll be smiley and cooing one minute and screaming bloody murder the next. She also defies any trend analysis about her sleep habits, sleeping 7 straight hours one night and only 2 or 3 the next. Daytime naps are equally unpredictable.
For all their sleep deprivation and frustrations, the kids' Mommy and Daddy are very much enjoying being part of a family of four. And, on occasion, they can appreciate the humor in their situation. After all, it is pretty funny to have your lives dictated by two such tiny creatures!
