Bedtime has been a bit crazy at the Younger house the past month. Hudson has struggled to fall asleep on several occasions and, on a fairly regular basis, has been visiting his parents between midnight and 4 am because he is "scared!" or "lonely!". At the recommendation of several friends, his Mommy bought a dreamcatcher today to help him fend off bad dreams and other scary nighttime thoughts. Hudson was very interested in the concept and went to bed more happily than he has in recent days. Stay tuned to see if the dreamcatcher works its magic through the night!
For her part, Celia has been a bit of a troublemaker at bedtime lately. She seems to catch a second wind right before bed and does a song and dance routine in the crib complete with screeches and the occasional limb getting stuck between the slats. Though cute, her little act has not helped her big brother settle down to sleep. Maybe the dreamcatcher will work some magic on her, too!
