Banana Girl and Crazy Boy
Sometimes the Younger kids are downright odd. Lately, Celia has turned into the fussiest of eaters and would probably live on bananas alone if permitted. She does the sign for "banana" with gusto and excitedly signs "more" and points towards the bunch of them in the event you don't understand her. Her great-grandmother, Dotty, would laugh at this, having been forced to subsist on bananas and bread as a young immigrant to the US.
Meanwhile, Hudson defies the logic of children's sleep books. When he has made recent appearances in his Mommy and Daddy's room in the middle of the night, he's been told that if he won't go back to his room, he'll have to sleep on the floor. So he does. All.Night.Long. And swears it's not uncomfortable. And that he wants to do it again. That was not what the books said would happen. Sigh...
