Tonight marked the 5th of 8 nights that Hudson and Celia's Mommy is solo-parenting for dinner, bath, and bedtime while their Daddy is off at public hearings for the I-95 improvement project. The kids have been remarkably well-behaved each of these nights for reasons not altogether clear. Perhaps it's the fact that their Mommy has been serving them their favorite meals for dinner. Tonight they dove into baked mac-n-cheese with such gusto that they didn't even look up while she spoke to them... that is, until Hudson asked if he could have ice-cream. :)
