Again? Really?!?! Yup, another bug has hit the Younger house. This afternoon Hudson started running a fever and complaining of achy ears, head, and stomach. His Mommy whisked him to the doctor who thought it might be strep again after seeing his inflamed tonsils. The rapid test came back negative, so she figures it's likely something viral... which means no easy treatment. Hudson was not happy about this turn of events and is pretty tired and miserable. Hopefully he'll take the doctor's advice and get lots of rest and fluids. (His Mommy asked the doctor to repeat this to him several times.)
Celia has no similar symptoms, although she was up several times last night for no apparent reason. Not to worry, the rash around her mouth is easily accounted for - pineapple for snack at preschool today. If only all the diagnoses were so simple!
