Hudson and Celia spent the morning in Chapel Hill so Hudson could have his ears checked at an ENT. His Eustachian tubes are swollen and thick fluid has collected causing hearing loss. Cross your fingers for him (and the rest of the family) as he tries a second round of prednisone, aka kiddie crack, to see if it will reduce the swelling; otherwise, he gets tubes. Thankfully, Hudson very much enjoyed his time with the doctor and audiologist, especially since the doctor was familiar with building model rockets. Afterward, the kids were treated to a playdate with their Mommy's friend, Mike, who joined them for playground fun, a short hike, lunch, and frozen yogurt. Fun!
