Hudson and Celia bid farewell to Charleston with a trip to nearby Mount Pleasant to visit the USS Yorktown.
They got to sit in a cockpit, see fighter jets, explore all the different parts of the ship, and visit with the many dogs who were on-board for the Paws at the Point animal shelter fundraiser. The cutest dog was the Yorktown's mascot, Scrappy.
After the history lesson, the family had lunch at a great spot along Shem Creek where the shrimp boats come and go. Bye bye, Charleston, until we meet again!
