Hudson and Celia both took on challenges today. Celia is typically a fussy eater with a small list of foods she enjoys eating. Daddy took her to an African restaurant for lunch to try something new and (drum roll) she liked her plantains and rice and beans, and loved the "signature Nairobian punch." Meanwhile, over at elementary school, Hudson had another tough morning settling into first grade, but had a "pretty okay day" by the time things wrapped up (thanks to his very patient teacher). He was rewarded with the brand new Kratt brothers book that he can read all by himself!
