The Youngers set out for nearby Eno River State Park to enjoy today's sunshine. While Celia took in the sights and sounds from her perch on her Mommy's back, Hudson walked the entire Cox Mountain trail - all 4 miles of ups and downs. While there was definitely a whine here and there, he was fairly easily distracted with food breaks, getting to see the river, and checking in on the dogs. He surprised his parents by not falling asleep on the drive home, but was out for the night by 6:30 pm. Mommy and Daddy's reward for this adventure? Celia never complained and Hudson asked if he can do it again soon. Definitely!
