These photos were taken when the kids had just happily finished their bath. Minutes later, Hudson was refusing to stay in bed because he was afraid of having bad dreams, monsters showing up in the bedroom, etc., etc. It was quite an effort to get him un-rattled. When his Mommy last left the room, Big Monkey was set up as sentry at the far window, Ducky was looking out the window by his bed, Sea Turtle was keeping an eye on the door, his Daddy's old bear was watching the wardrobe, and Buddy (Beary's twin brother - who made a last-minute, hail-Mary arrival) was in front of the closet. Fingers crossed!
