Hudson and Celia had such a special day! Once they were both up, their Mommy loaded them into the double stroller and they ate their breakfast along the American Tobacco Trail as she jogged downtown to the Durham train station. There, they met up with some friends and boarded the Carolinian for the 20-minute ride to Cary to celebrate National Train Day. At the Cary station, they were greeted by the town band and all sorts of train-related activities, plus even more friends. By the time their Daddy met them a few hours later, Celia was so exhausted from the excitement that she was wobbling around.
In the afternoon, cousins Ava and Charlie arrived from Massachusetts. It's been almost a year since the kids have seen one another, but they didn't miss a beat. There was much playing and cousin silliness. What a fun day!!!
