Johnston Mill Nature Preserve

The Youngers discovered a hidden little hiking gem located just 15 minutes away at the Triangle Land Conservancy's Johnston Mill Nature Preserve.  Hudson and Celia loved donning their backpacks (filled with snacks, of course) to check out the views of New Hope Creek, 200-year old farm land, and various wildlife (squirrels, woodpeckers, frogs, and bugs).  Hudson successfully hiked more than 3 miles while Celia ran almost 3/4 of a mile (she seems to only have two speeds - run or ride in the Ergo).  This place is definitely worth checking out for the locals!
