There was no post yesterday because Hudson and Celia's Mommy and Daddy went on a little retreat to the Umstead Hotel and Spa. Although it was a mere 10 miles down I-40, it felt like a thousand miles away. While their parents enjoyed massages and fancy food, the kids were (according to reports) very well behaved for their Nonna. Whew! Thanks, Nonna!!!
With temperatures above 100 degrees scheduled to continue for a few days, Hudson and his Mommy headed out to an arts and crafts store upon her return. Hopefully they got enough things to keep the kids entertained while they are stuck inside. Every kid-friendly indoor venue is bursting at the seams. Stay cool, everyone!
