Hudson and Celia's Mommy and Daddy have been bracing them to say goodbye to sweet Holden since he was first diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in January. The kids have been fortunate to have seven great months with their beloved pup, but now it's time to say goodbye. Celia doesn't seem to understand what's going on, but Hudson has memorized several doggy dying books including Saying Goodbye to Lulu and one by Mister Rogers, so he at least gives the appearance of being ready. Send good thoughts to us all tomorrow!

Losing a dog is like getting your heart ripped out and I'm really sorry. But Holden was very special and I hope his memory and participation in various adventures will bring a lot of comfort.
