With a wonderful fall day forecast and Mommy's knees perking up a bit, the Younger's decided to take an outing to nearby Johnson Mill Nature Preserve. Hudson and Celia are always up for a hike when they get to bring backpacks full of snacks!
Although Celia is on her Daddy's shoulders in these photos, she did manage to walk 2 miles of the 3 mile hike. Yay, Celia! Hudson was insistent on walking Phoebe for much of the way. He did drop the leash once and needed assistance when other dogs were near, but he's definitely showing that before long walking her will be one of his chores. His Daddy can't wait!
