Roosevelt Island
The Youngers headed into Manhattan to visit a place that Gramzi had only been to once before and Mommy had never been to... Roosevelt Island. Half the fun was taking the air tram to get there!
The kids enjoyed exploring the island's playgrounds and checking out the awesome views across the East River. They also had lunch at Trellis diner - a local favorite. After returning to "mainland" Manhattan, they made a quick stop at Dylan's Candy Bar before hopping on the subway. They were overwhelmed with all the choices... it was like visiting the Willy Wonka factory. Thanks to Gramzi for planning such a great day!
