Hudson had a wonderful day filled with his two passions - people and food (though not necessarily in that order). We had breakfast in Durham with the Malkin-Weber's, good friends Suzanne hadn't seen in several years. While the grownups enjoyed chatting, Hudson tore into Melissa's scrumptous blueberry pancakes with reckless abandon. His sheer love of food and the purple mess he made were both impressive.
Later, our friends Amy and Sam from birthing class had us over for dinner in Chapel Hill. Hudson was reunited with his buddy, Eliza, and pretty much ate everything in sight... the food we brought for him, a good portion of what was on his Mommy's plate, and even some dessert. All in all, it was a perfect day in Hudson-world.
