Hudson is a hoot at 8 months! His mobility is growing by leaps and bounds and he's now quickly scooting across the floor, pulling himself up, and sitting up on his own. With these abilities, he's into everything - no opportunity to cause trouble goes unnoticed. Trying to take this month's photo was quite an effort... Hudson does not like to sit still and spent most of the photo shoot cruising around the side of his chair. The upside of this chaos (for his parents, at least) is that he absolutely exhausts himself by the end of the day and is now sleeping much better. He goes down at 7 pm, stirs around 5:30 am to nurse, and sleeps for another 1-2 hours.
While his Mommy and Daddy expected the little guy might be on the move fairly early (Craig walked at 9 months), they have been shocked at how much (both quantity and variety) Hudson has been eating lately. He is already eschewing jarred baby food, much preferring "grown up" meals. For example, tonight he ate a huge portion of spinach ricotta ravioli with a side of cucumber pieces. He loves pasta with all his quarter-Italian heart!
