Eurobaby

It's official, Hudson is now a world traveler! The little charmer pleasantly surprised his parents by surviving a 1 hour delay at RDU, 2+ hour layover at JFK, and 7+ hour flight to Nice with very few complaints. He made friends on each leg of the journey and managed to sleep more than 4 hours on the Nice flight (most of which was spent curled up on blankets at his parents' feet).

Once in Nice, Hudson stayed up long enough to make it through customs and car rental, but then promptly sacked out about 5 minutes after being placed in his car seat. Since it was way too early to check into their hotel, his parents took the opportunity to drive down the coast to Cannes and enjoy the scenery. They woke the little guy up when they returned to Nice at noon to have his first taste of French cuisine. He very much enjoyed the outdoor seating, scooters, pizza, and his Mommy's sunglasses.

All in all, we're off to a great start! Well, with just one tiny snafu... after checking in at the hotel, Hudson's Mommy left to go buy some milk to leave for him in the hotel fridge. His Daddy said he'd be awake to let her in the room, but both Younger men were completely sacked out when she returned. After 10 minutes of knocking, his Mommy finally got the very nice concierge (who was quite amused) to let her in the room. So far, the Hotel Star gets rave reviews!!!
