The Younger kids were both worn out at bedtime tonight, although for very different reasons. Hudson battled his Nonna for almost two hours over an afternoon nap at her house today. (He's actually still battling his Daddy over bedtime at press.) The little guy simply won't stay in his bed and continually gets out of the room, even busting through door knob safety covers and ignoring threats (and associated consequences) of taking away everything from toys to sweets. Anyone have other ideas for how to keep him in bed? He claims to "like being naughty." Fabulous.
Celia's exhaustion is from her four-month well baby visit at the doctor this morning. She was a trooper about her shots and seemed more upset about taking off her warm clothes to get weighed. At 14lb 10oz and 24 inches, she's in the 50th-75th percentile for weight and right at the 50th percentile for height. According to Dr. Sally, she's doing great. Yay!
