The kids rang in the new year individually. Hudson spent New Year's Eve at his Nonna's house and celebrated with her when he woke. Meanwhile, Celia enjoyed being an only child for an evening and went for a hike in Duke Forest with her Mommy in the morning. As an extra special treat, the kids had a belated Festivus dinner with the Sullivan-Saarelas. Hudson was so tired from the day's fun that he fell asleep on the drive home, quickly got ready to go back to sleep, and asked his Daddy to read him his book in bed. Happy New Year!
