The Youngers went on an Easter field trip to Vollmer Farm for some early season strawberry picking. Thanks to a mild winter, the strawberries are already ripe and yummy. Hudson was all business working his way up and down the rows saying, "I'll pick THIS berry and put it in my basket!" while Celia meandered around taste-testing. Once the work was done, the kids had a blast playing on the playground and eating ice cream. (Lots more pix on the Kodak share site.)
In the evening, Nonna came over for Easter dinner and to play the egg tapping game. Hudson was quite disappointed when his Daddy beat him out in the final round. Oh well, there's always next year! Happy Easter!
