Hudson and Celia spent March celebrating. They celebrated Hudson's birthday, the arrival of Spring and hiking weather, and the start of baseball season. They happily shared these festivities with their Mommy, Daddy, Nonna, and Gramzi and Grandpa (who came for a visit over Hudson's birthday weekend). Most surprisingly, they celebrated with Holden, who - despite Hudson's frequent proclamation that he is going to die soon - has stayed around to enjoy many a hamburger with the kids. The month was also filled with lots of words. Now that Celia is starting to string together sentences, there's rarely a moment of quiet around the Younger house. The kids are having genuine interactions and even have a little ongoing story line with their respective dolls (Lily and Phil, featured below). It's unclear if Hudson actually wants to play with Phil (who he hadn't touched in months) or if he simply doesn't want to let Celia play with him (more likely). Either way, it's fun to watch!
As a final update, we can report that Celia has indeed peed on the potty several times since last month's post. So, perhaps the Youngers can say goodbye to diapers in the foreseeable future. Cross your fingers!!
