It Takes a Village

'Twas a long day at Casa de Younger.  While everyone was pleased that Holden chose not to repeat his previous effort of barking all night (reasons unclear), it turned out that a restful sleep was not in the cards.  At 2 am, Hudson wandered into his parents' room, then wandered back out, leaving his Mommy to spend 30 minutes trying to fall back asleep.  At 5 am, his Daddy tried to sneak downstairs.  Celia must have heard the click of the door, because she then woke up.  Her Mommy didn't know where her Daddy had gone and assumed he was with the kids, but her cries escalated and then Hudson started screaming, CELIA IS WAKING ME UP!  TAKE HER AWAY!!!  His Mommy sped into the kids room and realized that Daddy was no where to be found.  It took 30 minutes to get the kids settled back down.  At that point, Daddy staggered back upstairs and announced he had a stomach bug.  At 6 am, Hudson was back up and woke Celia.  Oy!  It was amazing the kids were so happy by the time evening rolled around.  Many thanks to Nonna for jumping in to help with the kids so their Daddy could recover.  It takes a village!
