Hudson and Celia were soooo excited for the arrival of Uncle Howard and Cousin Madeline this afternoon. To help pass the time, they spent the morning making cupcakes and buying fresh shrimp for her belated birthday dinner.
As soon as Madeline made her appearance, Hudson and Celia took her to one of their favorite places on the island, Springer's Point. The kids loved the nature trail and, especially, the secluded beach along the sound where Blackbeard once gathered his band of pirates. What a great day!
