The cousins were out and about for almost all of today. They started with a ferry ride to Hatteras Island and mid-morning snack of apple uglies at the Orange Blossom Bakery in Buxton. Then it was off to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse where the big kids got to climb to the top (while Celia, who didn't meet the height requirement, perused the bookstore with her Nonna and Gramzi).
Once back on Ocracoke, the kids opted to return to Springer's Point for some fun in the sound. Hudson and his Daddy did a bit of fishing while Celia enjoyed the warm, shallow water. The kids all give their vacation an enthusiastic thumbs up!
