July Fourth on Ocracoke was as fun as fun can be! Hudson, Celia, and Madeline visited the inside of the Ocracoke lighthouse, got their faces painted, listened to pirates sing songs and tell jokes, met Blackbeard, and watched a PARADE go right by the house... with people throwing CANDY off the floats.
Uncle Howard also encouraged them to take on an entrepreneurial adventure. He and the kids set up a lemonade stand and made more than $30 off of parade-goers. They were all very happy campers.
