Suzanne took this photo in an attempt to capture Sir Dumpling exhibiting his nightly "I don't want to go to sleep!" frustrations. And Craig thought it would be funny to imitate the little guy in his uber-pitiful pose. However, Hudson took one look at the camera and forgot all about the horrors of bedtime. That's our little drama queen!
An advanced warning for those who like to read the blog every day... tomorrow we head into the backcountry of Mt. Rogers National Recreation Area for the night and will likely be out of cell coverage. Everyone keeps telling us we're nuts to take a 4-1/2 month old on a backpacking trip, but we heard the same thing when we said we were going north of the Arctic Circle for our honeymoon. We figure anyone who picks a campsite near ours is going to suffer much more than we do!! Stay tuned for a trip report on Sunday night!
