IKEA!

Those of you who followed the tale of the Younger remodeling effort may remember that Craig is a huge fan of IKEA, and even trekked up to the Potomac Mills store several times in the course of the remodel. When he heard a new store was opening in Charlotte last week, he immediately started planning a Daddy-Hudson road trip. Today was the big day!

After the two hour drive, the boys enjoyed lunch at the IKEA cafe before jumping into serious shopping. No, Hudson did not have swedish meatballs, but he did enjoy their PB&J and organic applesauce. So much so, in fact, that he drew the attention of several other patrons.

So what did Hudson and his Daddy buy on their big adventure? Child-locks for all of our kitchen and bathroom cabinets!!! Oh boy, Hudson is going to be miffed when those get installed and his plan for destruction is thwarted. To ease his pain, his Daddy bought him a ginormous krokodil (crocodile) that he is very excited about.

Today was so much fun for both boys that it seems certain there'll be another trip in the near future. Contact Craig if you want to come along!
