... from this photo that Hudson was up most of the night with a high fever (~103.5F) that came along with the cold his parents gave him. The fever broke this morning as suddenly as it came and Hudson slept for a solid few hours afterwards, in such deep sleep that his snores filled the house. He awoke smiling and ready for the day. If only his parents had half his energy! Here he's playing in his Nonna's backyard and is trying to get his bearings with the uneven terrain and new sandals. We all had lunch at Nonna's to celebrate the fact that she's feeling much better... not quite ready to lift up the little guy, but up and about to enjoy the wonderful weather.
Tomorrow, Hudson's Grandma and Grandpa from NY arrive to help take care of him for the week and, of course, celebrate his birthday on Thursday. Stay tuned, we're sure there's going to be lots of excitement to follow!
