These photos of Hudson and his friend, Charlotte, were taken at Duke Gardens about five minutes before a huge thunderstorm rolled in. Hudson (aka Captain Safety) was beside himself with concern for everyone and kept telling his Mommy that he wanted to be at home where it wasn't wet. Thankfully, after being dragged to a covered veranda, the little guy settled down to enjoy the picnic lunch that had been planned with his friends. Every few minutes, however, he would remind his Mommy that he had spotted the dark rain clouds and asked when the thunder and lightening would stop. It wound up lasting until about 6 pm - yikes!
