Hudson and Celia were busy bees in May! Hudson and his Daddy went on a trip to Florida in hopes of seeing the space shuttle Endeavor take off (but the launch was sadly scrubbed), while Celia dealt with her first ear infection back at home. Together the kids went on several outings (New Hope Valley Railway, strawberry picking, West Point on the Eno, Duke Gardens, and the Woodcroft pool), baked yummy goodies, went to a birthday party and on playdates, and watched both their Mommy and Daddy in races. Celia figured out how to crawl while Hudson rode a two-wheeler without training wheels. Whew!
Preschool finishes up for the year next week, so Hudson's Mommy, Daddy, and Nonna will have to figure out fun things to do in the absence of Teacher Sue. Hudson has been really enjoying crafts at school lately (as shown here), so his caretakers have their work cut out for them (literally - ha!). Here's to a fun summer!
