It was an exciting morning for the Youngers! Hudson and Celia's Daddy was the cyclist for Team 11-Foot-8 in the Doughman "quadrathlon," a four-person relay that combines running, cycling, an aquatic "event," and competitive eating. The proceeds benefit Durham charities.
Hudson and Celia's Mommy got the kids up-and-at-em early so they could run downtown in the jogging stroller and have excellent seats to view the race. The kids were very proud of their Daddy. He snarfed up his Dos Perros tamales like a champ, passed a bunch of other teams while on the bike, and helped bring Team 11-Foot-8 to an 8th place finish! Hudson enjoyed consuming part of his Daddy's finishers "medal." Yay Team 11-Foot-8!
